The following is a list radio highs and lows penned by THE MAN himself.....

WHY DID I GET INTO RADIO?
My father always had the radio on...short of a cranial implant, it was in my blood from a very early age.

FIRST RADIO JOB
A DJ at KTOB in Petaluma....I started on Halloween night in 1978...pretty scary... I had to call my mom a couple of times to see if the station was still on the air

STRANGEST THING I'VE DONE IN RADIO?
Dress up as the Planters Peanut man. pantyhose and all, to hand out peanut samples.

BEST THING I DID?
Held a chocolate chip cookie contest on the air....not a bad gig for a starving DJ.... I gained 15lbs and made two appearances on KPIX's old Evening Show.

SOMETHING I DID TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE?
During my talkshow days at KSRO in Santa Rosa, I organized an effort to have the first ever Christmas decorations attached to the Berlin Wall.

MY BIGGEST NON-RADIO CLAIM TO FAME
Mussolini spent his last night with his mistress at the Chiaroni family hotel near Lake Como.

THE MOST VALUABLE 15 MINUTES IN MY CAREER
The time I spent in a Concord hotel room with KCBS News Director Ed Cavagnaro, playing my audition tapes of course!

STORIES I'VE WORKED ON AT KCBS THAT CHANGED HOW I LOOK AT LIFE
The Polly Klass kidnap/murder and the Oakland Hills fire.

MY BIGGEST RADIO REGRET
That my father never heard me on the air....He died before I ever got paid to be behind a mic.
