Here is a shot of tower three. The tower is up, the ground system is in, catwalks and tuning house are in place. The only thing needed is the counter-poise ground system to be added around the base. The two rings make up the Austin Ring transformer that applies AC power to the tower to light the tower lights. Also in this shot you can see the old rigid feedlines coming up into the bottom of the tuning house. These lines are still in place but are no longer being used. I have also included the picture I took of tower three from the transmitter portion of the tour. The two shots were taken from about the same place only 46 years apart.
