Nickel Serenade

"I was the morning man in the 40's. My show was the Nickel Serenade. Being a singer, I was one of the first to sing with instrumental records on the program. As you can see, I had all sorts of bells. Listeners sent them to me.

I did the program in the announce booth which looked directly into Master Control. We spun our own records on a 16" turntable. The records were from the KQW record library. Also I used some of my own."
