KCBS Studio H

stuf1.jpg - 35.9 K

This is Studio H. It is one of three editing booths located at the rear of the KCBS newsroom. Studios F, G, & H are used by the reporters to edit and assemble stories. They are also used by the newsroom production assistants to record audio from our news bureaus, reporters in the field or any CBS Radio Network shows from the satellite system (eg. Charles Osgood)

TECH STUFF

These are pretty basic studios. The console is a Sony MXP-21. A record/play ITC Delta tri-deck cart machine, Tascam 122MKIII cassette machine, a Sony TCM 5000 cassette machine and a Otari MX5050 MKIII (out of view) round out the rest of the equipment. There is also a phone hybrid for recording from the telephone and a IFB box for communicating with the news bureaus. Mics are Sennheiser 421s.
