Sabtronics Test Equipment

In the late 1970's to the mid 1980's, a company out of Dallas, Texas called Sabtronics made some really nice, but in-expensive test equipment kits. They made several different models of digital multimeters, frequency counters and a function generator. At least, these items are all I can find information on. I purchased both a Model 2000 DMM and a Model 8100 Frequency Counter. The 8100 was good to 120MHZ which made it perfect for both AM and FM maintenance. The kits were easy to assemble and the calibration was a snap on both. I still have both of them on my bench but the DMM has been superseded by newer DMMs but it is still useful if I need a third meter. Wish I could get my hands on one of the function generators.
