KKHI AM San Francisco California 1963
I found this tape in my office at KKHI back in the 1980's. I knew right then it was a keeper. I put it in a box high on a shelf with warnings all over it to not use this tape for production. One day I came to work to find one of my production engineers happily recording commercials onto it. When asked why he was recording on a tape clearly labeled 'DO NOT USE', I was told that he needed a reel of tape and that was the first one he could find and he didn't want to look any further. Nearly fired him right there. So, consequently, the first five IDs are lost to time. Oh well.
