That's Tony Moranda, our project manager, removing some of the heavier components from the back of the MW50 in the top left photo Top right is taken from inside the high voltage room looking out at the MW and 316B transmitters. You can see that the air exhaust ducts for the 316B have been removed. At this point, most of the heavy items have been removed from both transmitters in preparation of moving them out of the building.

On the bottom left, Tony is removing the old Step Start Panel for the MW50 in the high voltage room. In the center of the room is the high voltage transformer for the MW50. The brown things on the front of the transformer are the rectifiers that turned the high voltage AC into DC for the transmitter. The high voltage DC passed out of the room to the transmitter through conduit that ran under the building. In the last photo, the high voltage conduit is being cut down flush with the floor. This room will be expanded to become a storage room and sleeping area for personnel if it becomes necessary to operate from the transmitter for an extended period of time due to a natural disaster.
