The first picture shows the studio at the transmitter. This is a fully functional studio with Anchor, Reader and Reporter positions. The Anchor and Reader positions have Newsboss computers that have access to all wires and audio, same as downtown. We also have auto-record capability for network audio feeds. We will also have CBS satellite capability which will allow us to work independently of Battery Street if need be. In front of the Anchor, the lower left screen is the Newsboss monitor. The one to the right is Audiovault. Above the Anchor is a TV. We can receive both San Francisco and Sacramento stations, important if there is a major disaster in San Francisco and local TV stations are down. We also have a transmitter audio routing system to distribute audio throughout the plant for recording and monitoring, plus full EAS send and receive capability.

The second picture shows the newsroom/office area. Two newsboss work stations make up this area. Each workstation has audio editing capability and access to the transmitter audio routing system. Outside, under the clock, we will be able to set up additional workstations using laptops for more reporters.
